How to Change the Password on Your TravelWifi Hotspot
If you own a TravelWifi Hotspot and need to change the password of your portable router or hotspot, follow the steps below according to the model of your device.
Finding Your Default Wi-Fi SSID and Password:
Your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and default password are usually printed on a sticker located on the back of your device.
If you have already changed your password but can't remember it, you may need to perform a factory reset to restore your device's default settings. Check out this article on how to reset your hotspot.
Sapphire 3 / Sapphire Power / Sapphire S2:
- Connect your phone or computer to your TravelWifi CloudSIM router.
- Open a web browser and enter
192.168.43.1
in the address bar. - Click on "Manage My Device."
- Use "admin" as both the username and password, then click "Login."
- You can now view and edit your Wi-Fi SSID and password.
- Once you've made changes, click "Save."
Sapphire 5G:
- Turn on your Sapphire 5G device.
- On the device’s screen, tap "Name" or "Password," depending on what you want to modify.
- Enter the new SSID or password, then confirm.
CloudSIM Router:
- Connect your phone or computer to your TravelWifi CloudSIM router.
- Open a web browser and enter
192.168.88.1
in the address bar. - Click on "Manage My Device."
- Use "admin" as both the username and password, then click "Login."
- You can now view and edit your Wi-Fi SSID and password.
- Click "Save" when done.
Sapphire Touch:
- From the main screen, tap the section displaying your remaining data.
- Tap the "SSID / Password" section.
- Enter your preferred SSID or password and tap "OK."
- Tap "OK" again at the bottom of the screen.
- The updated SSID and password should now be displayed on the main screen.
