Connecting Your TravelWifi Device
It may take 3 to 5 minutes for your TravelWifi device to connect to the network. The device connects to local network providers that we partner with, and connectivity can vary based on your location. If your device hasn’t connected after waiting, try moving to a different location and rebooting your hotspot.
Tips for Optimal Connectivity
- Location Matters: Coverage is generally best in populated areas like cities and towns. Remote or rural areas may have weaker signals.
- Avoid Enclosed Spaces: Basements, tunnels, underground areas, or rooms without windows (e.g., some hotel rooms) can negatively affect signal strength. For a more stable connection, move to an open space.
Troubleshooting Connection Issues
If you're still having trouble connecting, try the following steps:
-
Factory Reset Your Device: Press and hold the pinhole button on the side of the device for about 8 seconds until the blinking light changes. If you previously changed the username and password, this action will restore them to the default settings found on the back of the device. Note that this reset will restore all settings to default, but it will not erase your data.
