If you've received your rental TravelWifi hotspot, follow these steps to get connected to the internet:
1. Turn on Your TravelWifi Hotspot
- Locate the power button on the left side of the device and press it to turn on the hotspot.
2. Wait for the Wi-Fi Signal
- The Wi-Fi LED indicator will turn on and become solid. This process can take 3 to 5 minutes.
3. Connect Your Devices
- Find your unique Wi-Fi network name and password on the back of the TravelWifi device.
- After the Wi-Fi indicator stops flashing, locate the TravelWifi network in your phone or computer's available Wi-Fi networks and enter the provided password.
- You can connect up to 5 devices at once.
Additional Features
- Check Battery Level: Press the power button once to see how much battery is left.
- Check Signal Strength: Press the power button twice. Each LED dot represents 25% signal strength.
Charging and Battery Life
- The battery takes about 3.5 hours to fully recharge and provides up to 8 hours of connectivity, depending on usage.
- To charge the device, use the micro-USB charging port located at the bottom.
Checking Data Usage
- To view your data consumption, connect to your Wi-Fi network and open a web browser. In the search bar, type: 192.168.43.1.
